MLB Does Not Have A Race Issue.....Get Over It!

On a day where Major League Baseball celebrates one of its truly inspirational heroes in Jackie Robinson, the topic of diversity in the sport has once again raised it's ugly head. I was reading a column on about how Minnesota Twins second baseman Orlando Hudson raises the issue of the lack of African Americans in the sport of baseball.

Hudson asked about the significance of Jackie Robinson in MLB was quoted as saying:

"The game still has a lot of progress to make," Hudson said on Wednesday. "I'm pretty sure [Robinson] turned over in his grave to see the lack of African-Americans playing ball. ... I'm pretty sure [Thursday] will be a glorious day, but Baseball, I think we're trying to do a little more."

When will baseball and baseball players (especially African American players) wake up!!??
