BRETT FAVRE HAS RETIRED!!

That is right Bears fans! Reports from the Minneapolis Star Tribune's Judd Zulgad have sources saying that the 11-time pro bowler and 3-time NFL MVP began informing Vikings personnel late Monday night that he has decided to retire for a third time. Head coach Brad Childress during today's meeting with the assembled Minnesota media was not aware if there had been a definite decision by his quarterback saying:
"I'm not a big hearsay person," Childress said. "I've got to hear it from the horse's mouth."
Presuming this is all true that Brett Favre is indeed hanging up his cleats for a third time (until he gets that "itch" again), how does this impact the Chicago Bears' chances in the NFC North?
